I help project managers become change leaders by giving them real-life experience and skills. Twenty years of portfolio, programme and project management across the Gulf and the wider Arab world, spent almost entirely between the client's plan and the trainee's exam.

I graduated from Damascus University in information technology and networks, and was among the first in the region to earn Microsoft's MCSE, MCT and MCP certifications in 2000. I moved into project management in 2003 through Saudi Arabian Airlines and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, and in 2006 became one of the earliest PMP holders in the Middle East.

Since then I have added PMI-RMP for risk, PMI-ACP for agile and PfMP for portfolio management — PMI's highest credential. I founded Bridge in 2009 and, under it, Crossover Management Consultancy in Manama, delivering project management, strategic planning, risk and agile training and consulting.

Alongside consulting I teach: tens of thousands of learners have taken my project management and PMP courses online, in both Arabic and English. This course is the flipped version of what I run live.
